Flight from Newark to Seattle Diverted After Credit Card Reader Catches Fire

BUFFALO, NY —

A Seattle-bound flight from New Jersey has made an emergency landing in Buffalo after a small fire in the galley.

A credit card reader caught fire and the crew put it out with a fire extinguisher. There were no injuries among the 184 passengers and crew of five.
